Saluting Inspiring International Women
8th of March is celebrated around the world as International Women’s Day and we are proud to recognize a few of the extraordinary women who make a positive impact on the world and especially with Cambodian Community Dream Organization.

At CCDO we believe that it is the women who lift up the world with their kindness, selflessness, and tenacity. We see women volunteer, lead and very importantly look out for and help each other.

Rotary WASH Homes & Villages Project
We salute the capable and dedicated women of the Rotary Club Sentosa, Singapore

Marion Nicole Teo, Manju Govin & Dora Tong

Thank you for your persistence and diligence in crossing the “T’s” and dotting the “I’s” so that we complied with all the rules and regulations of the Rotary Global Grant.

We successfully completed 200 houses and made them into safe and functional homes with rain proof zinc roofs, and an additional 80 wells, and 128 latrines.

Texel Foundation
We salute Katy Beechey, Texel Programme Director in London, from the first contact you have been our advocate and staunch supporter of various initiatives and you have encouraged us to think outside of the box. You were the first to say yes when we pivoted to dedicate funds to Covid prevention at the beginning of the pandemic.

Recently, we received a $9,700 grant to continue with our seed program that gives an opportunity to the deserving villagers to grow vegetables and also invest in our Healthy School program to ensure that the children have regular health check ups. In Katy’s words:

“It is your (& your team’s!) continued vision and sustainable action which inspire our ongoing support. We’re excited to see the outcomes of these latest projects and hope that they can provide hope and opportunity to the communities involved.”

In time for International Water Day (22 March)
We salute Karin Hurt (along with husband David Dye) who have proudly built 103 water wells in Cambodia, in conjunction with one of our partners, Together We Can Change The World (TWCCTW)

“We heard about the TWCCTW clean water project at a National Speakers Association event and were inspired by the impact clean water makes for the families and communities in Cambodia. Having just published our book, Winning Well, we instantly knew how to help: build Winning Wells in honor of our clients. So when a client books a keynote or leadership development program, we build a ‘Winning Well’ in ‘celebration’ with them.

We were so delighted to be able to visit some of our Winning Wells, meet the families, and learn about the impact the Winning Wells have made on their families health and financial stability when we were on tour with TWCCTW. Our clients love seeing the pictures of “their” wells, and are always so touched and honored to be able to be part of this journey.

We are so grateful to TWCCTW and the CCDO team for this incredible partnership.”
