Special Day Honors Students Committed To Serving In The U.S. Armed Forces

Mr. Plum visited with KMHS Campus students who have committed to serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. The students were honored Monday with a bevy of special events. The day started out with Andrew Lloyd (U.S. Army National Guard), Tucker Belsky (U.S. Navy Reserves) and Austin Walker (U.S. Air National Guard) joining Principal Justin Bestor for Morning Video Announcements. The three students, plus Garrett Sorenson (U.S. Army National Guard), then joined Superintendent Plum in the Laser Locker, where they received a hat, hoodie and tee - new limited-edition patriotic KM clothing - which is now on sale to the public. They ALSO got to pick one other item from the store - and who knew it would be so difficult for young men to shop? Finally, all KM commits were honored with a special signing ceremony - applauded by family, friends and staff.

KM salutes these honorable young women and men and are grateful for their service:

  • Tucker Belsky: U.S. Navy Reserve
  • Joey Gallenberg: U.S. Army
  • Katy Gallenberg: U.S. Navy Reserve
  • Andrew Lloyd: U.S. Army National Guard
  • Nathaniel Segedi: U.S. Army
  • Garrett Sorenson: U.S. Army National Guard
