Dear Fencers, Families and Friends,

Today, like many around the country, we are proud to celebrate and honor our Military Veterans.

Earlier today, our Veterans on Guard fencers marched (or should we say fenced) down Fifth Avenue, as we began celebrating our Veterans’ service and fencing success.

This Sunday, November 14, our Veterans on Guard members will be joined by Fencers Club Senior and Veteran Epee fencers to compete in our Combat Challenge Fundraising Event. This annual event brings together a diverse cross section of our epee community and builds team camaraderie while celebrating the success of the program. Not only is this a fun and exciting competition, but it’s also a way to raise money for the program so that we can continue to provide more fencing opportunities.

The Fencers Club Veterans on Guard program is a hallmark of Fencers Club and a program that we are extremely proud of. Since 2013, the Veterans on Guard program has been committed to promoting physical fitness and emotional well-being within the Veteran population and we have positively impacted the lives of more than 350 Veterans so far. In partnership with the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs, we provide a comprehensive fencing program to Veterans, including training, uniforms and equipment, and competition opportunities.

You can support the Fencers Club Veterans on Guard program by donating through our online donating platform. Donating is safe and easy. Any donation will help us reach our goal of $15,000.

We hope you join us in celebrating our military Veterans today and thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

Fencers Club
