Today, Ojai, CA-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Sam Blasucci shares healing and tranquil EP, La Miel, out now alongside "CHANCEZ," with its video that celebrates the power of one's voice and standing for truth. His fourth record and first double LP, Physical Dream, due out April 17 and available for pre-save now. This March through June, Blasucci will perform live throughout Europe, the UK and the U.S.–see all dates below and find more information here.

Calling back to the musician's roots and inspired by Los Angeles and Mexico, Blasucci says, "This EP (the third movement, ‘La Miel’) is the honey to the largely wounded inner world of this record. Literally translated to ‘Honey’, it feels the most energizing and soothing to what I see as our collective wounds. Soothing to the damaged throat & voice that we’re now just dusting off. Largely influenced by my teachers, friends, caretakers, and musical mentors in Coahuila, MX as well as my upbringing in Los Angeles of course and those musical heroes and friends of mine in that incredible hometown of mine that built me up and taught me what I’ve expressed in my recordings."

The "CHANCEZ" video explores truth and the power of people and claiming one's voice. Blasucci shares, “This is our chance to do something brave and good for the world. Our little window of life is so brief and now is the moment when we can re-spark the memory of why we have voices and why we have power as people. It will be beautiful to see, with whatever eyes we gain when we die, that we stood for the truth when it was our moment to represent life.”

It's packed with romance, mysticism and political resistance, including live takes of running water near the recording studio, night sounds outside Blasucci's house and audio from an anti-ICE protest. Years in the making, Blasucci is proud to share a body of work that is a culmination of experiences, feelings and influences. The artist shares, "'Physical Dream' seems like it was a seed that was planted so long ago. There are years of inspiration behind this album credited to so many places I’ve been and so many upheavals that shaped it into what ended up being my most sprawling collection of music I’ve made. I first imagined 'Physical Dream' while I was at Wi Spa in Los Angeles and envisioned it as a painting first."

Sam Blasucci has lived across the U.S. and Mexico throughout his life. For nearly a decade, he's become known as part of Mapache, a roots-rock group based in Southern California. Constantly creating, Blasucci has Now, he's gearing up to share his most ambitious, self-assured solo project yet, Physical Dream out this April. Blasucci has been praised for his sonic versatility and musicianship by KCRW, JamBase and more.

ABOUT SAM BLASUCCI

Sam was born in Los Angeles in November 1994 and currently lives in Ojai, CA. Having had residence in Los Angeles, CA / Coahuila, MX / Orem, UT & New Orleans, LA - it’s safe to assume Sam will be on the move again soon. Determined to live by creation, Sam is the type of artist that is always creating something, maintaining a sort of inexhaustible hunger to make music. Expressing himself through sound has now gone beyond joy and into being second nature and Sam’s real first language. This year marks his fourth full length release along with plans for the release of more finished recordings later in the year.
