Welcome Samaritan Counselor:
Beth McDonald, M.A., LPC
Part of Madison First UMC's Long Range Plan is the desire to provide a licensed, professional counselor and therapist to be available to the Morgan County community. We have reached this objective and delighted to report we will be providing a counseling room as well as financial support to Samaritan Counseling for those who may have financial struggles or do not possess insurance.
Beth McDonald, M.A., LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Staff Therapist at Samaritan Center for Counseling and Wellness in Athens. She is now available to see clients in Madison at First United Methodist Church on Thursdays from
8am to 4pm, and
Friday mornings from
8am to 11am. Beth provides counseling for children, adolescents, couples, individuals and families dealing with issues ranging from depression, substance abuse and blended families to building healthy relationships. In addition to being a licensed therapist, Beth was a Pastoral Counselor for over 20 years.
