There was an adjustment to the report after I emailed Noyes and asked for a correction because the story did not include a very important fact that the Honorable Pamela Price had called the news conference.
In the original story Noyes erroneously stated that the news conference was held by Cat Brooks, founder and executive director, "Anti Police Terror Project"(APTP) who was a participant, not the organizer. she and Addie Kitchen (grandmother of Steven Taylor who was shot by San Leandro Police at Walmart) were on the agenda.
The KGO TV story was adjusted on the Internet to remove that reference of who held the news conference, although quotes from Ms. Brooks and Ms. Price were still included.
Before the original news story was adjusted to erase historical fact that Ms. price called the news conference, I asked two questions in my email to Noyes:
Did the NAACP call the TV station “outraged” due to seeing the original KGO story?
Did you call the NAACP after the Price news conference and ask for a reaction from the NAACP?
i received no response but saw that the story was altered to remove the error I pointed out that of Ms. Brooks being reported as the organizer for the news conference.
The NAACP was contacted with the same questions. No response has been received to date.
WHY IS FAIR AND BALANCED MEDIA COVERAGE OF THE ALAMEDA COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY
RACE NECESSARY?
DUE TO ITS IMPORTANCE AND IMPACT
Why is the Alameda County District Attorney Race so important? Cause “Bey Bey’s Kids,” “Niecey ‘nem,” “Ray-Ray” and “Pookie” can’t stand in front of the judge and say “Ah shucks, Judge we was just funning and “get off scot-free” like their White counterparts. Remember, the Scottsboro boys! (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottsboro_Boys) … It’s even worse as Jones Dickson lines up with the previous district attorneys trying Black children disproportionately as adults. It is also a point decried by Black Panther trailblazer Elaine Brown.
