Dear Friends,
Thanksgiving 2020 is certainly different, but no less special.
While we may not gather in large groups, the time we have together is precious whether it be in person, over the phone or virtually.
The pandemic has reinforced how fortunate we are to live in the Bay Area under exceptional leadership with a broad civic commitment to public health.
As we adjust to another surge, we take pride and comfort in knowing that San Francisco maintains the lowest infection rate among major cities across the nation. If the past is prologue, those areas with lower mortality rates are often among the first to bounce back from a pandemic.
Keep up the good work. Mask up, physically distance and wash your hands frequently. With news of now three possible vaccines on the horizon, there is light at the end of this tunnel.
Happy Thanksgiving!
