Save the date: Lunar New Year Festival
to take place February 8, 2020
We are proud to present the 6th annual Lunar New Year Festival. Celebrating the Year of the Rat, the festival will take place between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2020 in the City’s historic Mission District.

Did you know the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse was recently placed on the National Register of Historic Places? San Gabriel serves as a tourist destination for those who want to learn about the region’s history. Measure SG will use sales-tax that’s generated largely from visitors who shop in our City to fund important City services, including the maintenance of the historic Mission Playhouse.

Sign up for the 2020 homeless count
In January 2020, thousands of Los Angeles County residents will volunteer to help count their homeless neighbors as part of the Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count. Coordinated by the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, the count provides an important picture of the trends, progress and scope of homelessness in the region.
