Texas Legislators are already hard at work preparing for the 2023 Legislative Session and Interim Charges outlining priorities have been issued. Read about the priorities for the 2023 Texas Legislative Session for the Texas House here, and the Texas Senate here.  

Office Update!


When was the last time you stopped into Republican Party Headquarters? If you haven't been by in the past month, you haven't seen our new look! Stop in and see us on Mondays and Wednesdays between 10 AM and 1 PM for information on the party, elections, or just to say hello.


Many thanks to the crew, Dee Galando, and Jewel Murchison Jackson, who have worked on getting things started with fresh paint and other great updates. And they're just getting started! Anyone who has time and an interest in helping with future work at the Party Headquarters (painting, construction) should contact Dee at 832-656-4092.

Texas GOP Convention


There will be no Club meeting in June due to the Texas Republican Party Convention which will be held June 16 – 18, at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

No July Meeting


There will be no Club meeting in July but please look into attending the Shepherd Independence Day Celebration on July 2nd at the Community Center. Starting at 11 AM there will be vendors selling their wares, food vendors, a fun volleyball competition and so much more. Then stick around til the sun goes down for the fireworks show.

August 1 - Annual Party organizational meeting at headquarters.

August 15 - Coffee with Senator Charles Schwertner.

September 12 - Informal brainstorming session regarding our participation in the SJC fair and parade float. Anyone interested in helping should attend.

October 3 - Event speaker Morgan Luttrell. Details pending confirmation. 

November 8 - Election Day! No club meeting.
