Church Renovation Fundraiser

Dear San Juan Parishioners and Donors,

So often in our busy lives, our focus is limited to just the people and organizations we see on a daily basis. But every now and then, it's inspiring and gratifying to take a look up and out to see that we are a part of something BIGGER than ourselves and our narrow view. 

As Christians, we know that we are each members of the Body of Christ called to live as disciples of Jesus. As a member of San Juan Mission's community, you are spiritually connected to every Catholic disciple and organization serving our nation and the world. Just pause to think about all of the good and holy work that is happening RIGHT NOW through our beloved Church. Including but not limited to the following ministries and activities led by volunteers at San Juan; Food drive and clothing closet, Rosario Circle, Faith Formation for children, youth and adults (through OCIA), Knights of Columbus, and Ladies Guild. 

We invite you to join us in #iGiveCatholic on GivingTuesday as an opportunity to celebrate our Catholic connection while supporting the hardworking ministries doing the Lord's work each day.

And we won't be alone. #iGiveCatholic is the U.S. Catholic Church's annual giving day, so we'll be participating along with thousands of other Catholic churches, schools and ministries across the country -- all celebrating the impact of Catholic organizations serving our diverse communities!

But we need your help! Please join our campaign to help us reach our goal of $200,000 for the renovation of our church! We need you to tell your friends and family members about the important work we do and ask them to join us in helping to make a difference. Again this year as we did last year, we'll be dedicating our #iGiveCatholic campaign towards funding construction on the church building.

Advanced Giving starts on November 13th 

Visit https://staugustine.igivecatholic.org/organizations/san-juan-mission anytime between then and GivingTuesday on November 28th to make a donation to San Juan Mission. All online giving will end at 11:59PM on November 28, so make sure to get your gift in on time!

Prefer to make your gift by check or cash? No problem! We'll be happy to accept it by mail or in person. We will add it to our #iGiveCatholic totals manually so your gift still counts towards our goal!

Estimados feligreses y donantes de San Juan,

Muy a menudo, en nuestras ocupadas vidas, nuestro enfoque se limita solo a las personas y organizaciones que vemos a diario. Pero de vez en cuando, es inspirador y gratificante mirar hacia arriba y ver que somos parte de algo MÁS GRANDE que nosotros mismos y nuestra visión estrecha.

Como cristianos, sabemos que cada uno de nosotros somos miembros del Cuerpo de Cristo llamados a vivir como discípulos de Jesús. Como miembro de la comunidad de la Misión de San Juan, usted está conectado espiritualmente con cada discípulo y organización católica que sirve a nuestra nación y al mundo. Simplemente haga una pausa para pensar en todo el trabajo bueno y santo que está sucediendo AHORA MISMO a través de nuestra amada Iglesia. Incluyendo, entre otros, los siguientes ministerios y actividades dirigidas por voluntarios en San Juan; Colecta de alimentos y armario de ropa, Rosario Circle, Formación de Fe para niños, jóvenes y adultos (a través de OCIA), Caballeros de Colón y Ladies Guild.

Lo invitamos a unirse a nosotros en #iGiveCatholic el GivingTuesday como una oportunidad para celebrar nuestra conexión católica mientras apoyamos los ministerios trabajadores que realizan la obra del Señor cada día.

Y no estaremos solos. #iGiveCatholic es el día anual de donaciones de la Iglesia Católica de EE. UU., por lo que participaremos junto con miles de otras iglesias, escuelas y ministerios católicos en todo el país, ¡todos celebrando el impacto de las organizaciones católicas que sirven a nuestras diversas comunidades!
