Moving into August, the HMIS Support Team is proud to announce a change in structure for the monthly HMIS Office Hours. HMIS users can expect the first 20 minutes of Office Hours to include relevant content and tutorials direct from the HMIS Support Team. The remaining time in Office Hours is an open forum for questions and answers. This is also an opportunity to build community among HMIS users across all agencies!

11:20 - 11:55: Open Question and Answer with HMIS Support

11:55 - 12pm: Closing and Save the Date for September Office Hours

Q: I'm an HMIS end user without access to the Data Analysis tool, can I still run reports in Clarity?

Answer: Yes! No matter if you are an agency administrator or agency manager, all users have access to reports in Clarity. The Data Analysis tool allows for custom queries and while that feature is unique to some users, all end users can access Clarity reports to help smooth operations and coordinate care across agencies. Learn how to navigate reports in Clarity in this Knowledge Base article and then check out the report library highlighted in this Knowledge Base article.

Q: Where can I find the Release of Information (ROI) files for clients in Clarity HMIS?

Answer: The files for a client's ROI can be found within the "shield" icon in a client's profile. Click on the "shield" in the right-hand side of the menu to see the documents listed. HMIS users can also find ROI documents in paper form, available in both English and Spanish, on the HMIS website listed under the HMIS policies section of the HMIS Website for the Department of Social Services.
