2. Sign up for San’yas Indigenous Cultural Safety Training
As part of St. Joe’s commitment to Indigenous Truth and Reconciliation, all leaders are required to sign up for Indigenous Cultural Safety training.
This training will:
- Provide leaders with an understanding of the ongoing impact of colonization on Indigenous Peoples, with a focus on the importance of providing culturally safe healthcare
- Improve Indigenous cultural awareness across St. Joe’s
- Align with gold standard training best practices and increase our capacity to provide culturally safe care

During the training, Lisa Jeffs, Senior EDI Consultant, will host a one-hour virtual drop in session on the first Friday of every month to talk about the impact of the course, any emotions it may be evoking and how we can act to address the ongoing effects of colonization.

3. Hyperdrive Live at St. Joes: Wednesday, June 19!
Dovetale’s new web browser, Hyperdrive, is set for takeoff at St. Joes on Wednesday, June 19!
Dovetale Hyperdrive places the Dovetale software on a web-based platform, providing a more secure and agile environment. With this updated platform comes changes to the application's look and feel. Dovetale will be available across all St. Joe's sites on Wednesday, June 19!
As of Wednesday, June 19, all staff please begin using the Dovetale icon to start using the
newest Dovetale update.
On Thursday, June 20, the Dovetale Classic application icon will be removed from workstation desktops. Dovetale Classic will remain available in the Windows Start Menu until July 18, 2024.
Radiologist workstations will maintain Dovetale Classic and transition to Hyperdrive in a later phase (targeted communications to follow).
