WELCOME TO OUR NEW TEACHERS
Please welcome our new teachers in Children’s Chapel,  Lanette Bryant and Anna Bianconi! Lanette is currently working to obtain her MSW and is an intern at the Intercultural Community Center. Lanette brings a passion for social justice to her work with children and will primarily be with our older kids, grades 3—4. Anna works as a behavioral health professional during the school year and is working towards her masters degree. Anna grew up in the UU church and is excited to share those positive experiences with the next generation of UU kids. Anna will primarily be with our younger kids, pre-K—2.

CONGREGATIONAL LIFE
SINGING IS GOOD AT FIRST U
Did you know that EVERYONE is welcome in the choir? There are no auditions or try-outs. We are very friendly and easy-going, without almost zero crazy perfectionist performance anxiety. We love to welcome new folks, first time singers, and need people in every section from high (soprano) to low (bass) voices. Even quiet voices! We all learn new pieces together, with lots of laughter, patience and support.

We sing a few Sundays each month. We meet to practice on Thursdays 6:30-8:00 pm in the Common Room, and then again on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am to warm up before the service. Please email Music Director Sam at schandler1103@gmail.com for more info. or just show up on Thursdays!
YOGA STARTING UP AGAIN!
The Fall Yoga Session starts this Saturday, September 15th at the church from 10:00 - 11:15 AM. $10 donation suggested per class. One-half of the proceeds go to a charity agreed with the class, and one-half to the Church.  This is a multi-level yoga class. You can modify or stop at any time. Newcomers welcome. Any questions contact the Instructor, Lois Howlett, at loishowlett2@gmail.com or tel. 847-3055.
