Endings provide a way to begin, as death makes way for new life to sprout. Family histories will one day be less important because we will all disappear. The important thing is what we plant and cultivate while living. What will grow when we pass away?
Perhaps love is the only flower worth planting. Its blossoming serves everyone without any limitation. That’s my wish for everyone; to remember planting seeds of compassion—so all beings may benefit when we are gone. It’s a shared garden that truly feeds us.
(UPDATE: Photo is me casting a loving glance toward my big sister. She breathed her last breath Wednesday morning, August 4.)
