Vote from the Heart

“Democracy is the worst form of government, except for all the others.” This quote from Winston Churchill says it all. Our form of government is very messy but it does give us an option to choose our representatives. Unfortunately, we have descended into a pit of dualism and are trying to climb out. I imagine Buddha saying, “How’s that going for you?”

The dualistic mind born from the thought of self and other, the ego’s job description, is the root of all our ‘otherism’. Our practice is to liberate the divisiveness in our own minds so that we can be of benefit to all beings without exception. Let’s invite Chenrezig into the process and vote from our hearts in the upcoming election. May it go smoothly as possible, bathed in the light of our prayers.

OM MANI PADME HUNG

Much Love,

🙏🏼🌎❤️ Michael

"Generosity brings happiness at every stage of its expression.

We experience joy in forming the intention to be generous.

We experience joy in the actual act of giving something.

And we experience joy in remembering the fact that we have given."
