Another Day, Another War

The muscles in my neck are getting fatigued with all the head shaking I’ve been doing during this current regime. Another war—of course! What would humans do without conflict? This is the energy of samsara in its most extreme expression.

It is important to remember that wars are not “out there” but in our own minds. Every time our thoughts rage, a war breaks out. This is where we resolve the outer wars. All our control issues and unrequited expectations plant seeds for war to arise.

Maybe we can do a little practice to liberate the deep dissatisfaction (dukkha) of our delusions and restore peaceful and compassionate awareness. Manjushri’s sword can cut through anything...OM AH RA PA TSA NA DHI

Much Love,

The Healing Power of Practice

Manjushri Mantra Accumulations

We have the opportunity to join our voices and intentions together through chanting the Manjushri mantra for the benefit of all beings:

OM AH RA PA TSA NA DHI

Manjushri’s sword of wisdom cuts all the sprouts of suffering. May we visualize this and heal the wounds of the planet and all lifeforms inhabiting it. We have the goal of 500,000 repetitions though our combined voices.

Remember to report your accumulations at the Dharma Center or via email through our website:

We experience joy in forming the intention to be generous.

We experience joy in the actual act of giving something.

And we experience joy in remembering the fact that we have given."
