LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP UPDATE

FROM PRESIDENT CAPEHART

Dear PCUL Family, on behalf of the Pinellas County Urban League (PCUL) Board, Staff, and myself, welcome to Sankofa Season 2026! A new day and chapter for the Pinellas County Urban League.

Thank you for your continued support of our mission and your commitment to strengthening our community as a part of the PCUL collective. Your generosity helps us empower our community and change the lives of youth, individuals, and families across Pinellas County.

After careful consideration, PCUL will discontinue the $1,000 Lifetime Membership level effective February 2026.

First and foremost, we want to honor and express our deepest gratitude to our current Lifetime Members.

Your support has played a meaningful role in supporting our organization and expanding our impact over the years. That commitment will always be recognized, appreciated, and will formally be memorialized at our Annual Meeting at Food Truck Friday, February 6, 2026.

The decision to sunset this membership level reflects the evolving needs of our organization. As operating expenses continue to rise, including program delivery, technology, and administrative infrastructure, it has become increasingly important for PCUL to prioritize predictable, recurring revenue streams that protect our cash flow and support long-term sustainability. This shift allows us to plan more effectively, remain responsive to community needs, and continue delivering high-quality programs and services.

As part of this strategic pivot, PCUL is expanding our monthly giving programs and developing giving circles that offer donors greater engagement, transparency, and connection to the impact of their investment. These models allow supporters to see their contributions at work in real time while helping ensure the organization’s financial health.

We warmly invite you to
join our 'Empowerment Collective' as a monthly donor with a $50 monthly donation. Monthly donors are essential partners in our work, providing the consistent support needed to sustain and grow programs that uplift our community. Click here to join the Empowerment Collective of sustaining donors and friends of PCUL.

For those considering a $1,000 Lifetime Membership, we invite you to join at this level for a limited time through Friday, February 6, 2026, by clicking the link here or the image below. After that date, the Lifetime Membership option will no longer be available.

Thank you for standing with the Pinellas County Urban League. Your partnership, past, present, and future, continues to make a lasting difference.

We are grateful to step in faith and confidence through the power of the collective, into this next chapter with you.

With sincere appreciation,

Nikki
