President's Message

Seventy-one golfers (71) joined me on October 25th for our 28th Annual Santa Ana Chamber Golf Classic. Yes it rained but not until the last 2 holes. We MADE it!!

Last year smoke and wind, several years ago 107 degrees next year SNOW? But we finished and had a great time supporting our Chamber work. GREAT thanks to all our participants , Chamber Staff, Paula Garcia-Arsenault and her Community Engagement Council team.

Congrats to Stu Betti, Lee de Leon, Chris Harrell and Corey Leak for posting an excellent low gross score of 58 to claim the 1st place honors.

Looking ahead to Thursday, November 18th for our final VISIONMAKER'S breakfast event with Moderator Jena Jensen (Chamber Board Chair) and guest speaker Ralph Opacic Founder of the Orange County School for the Arts.

Join us at 7:30 at Tustin Ranch Golf club for breakfast and presentation.

Vision Makers Breakfast

You're invited to join us for our very last event of 2021. On November 18, we will be hosting a breakfast at Tustin Ranch Golf Club as we honor OCSA Founder Ralph Opacic.

Under Opacic’s leadership, OCSA grew to be recognized as one of the premier arts schools in the nation. OCSA now serves a student body of nearly 2,300 students from over 100 cities throughout Southern California.

The 28th Annual Santa Ana Chamber Golf Classic was a rousing success. It was predicted that a big storm was coming, but we had plenty of folks that decided the to brave the coming rain. We'd like to give a big giant thanks to all those who attended, our sponsors and those that volunteered.

Travel Santa Ana Updates

Travel Santa Ana is participating in a Visit California co-op Expedia campaign to generate room nights and revenue for the Santa Ana hotels supporting the Tourism Marketing District. The campaign is running September through December and features one of the city’s many murals, “Innerself” by artist Kimberly Duran, on various sized banner ads. I’ve attached a visual.

Get $1000 Marketing Grant from the City of Santa Ana

The City of Santa Ana, in partnership with the SBDC and the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce, is offering a $1000 grant program for paid online advertising. The 6-week program with will teach all aspects of digital marketing to business owners to drive revenue. This course will be taught through weekly webinars.

Upon completion of the program, an SBDC consultant will help the business owner implement the paid advertising campaign.

Applications opened up on November 8, 2021 and will continue through November 22, 2021. Certain restrictions apply

Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting

After many false starts due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the grand opening of Hollywood Piano in Santa Ana is finally read to take place. Please join the celebration. There will be music, drinks, commemorative gifts and there will be a surprise guest!

The celebration will begin at 6:30 PM on November 18th inside the Main Place Mall. Please RSVP by November 15. The event is FREE.

OC Legal Help's 10th Anniversary Celebration

It's been 10 years of helping people, doing the right things, building a bridge of trust, not cutting corners and doing things fast and accurately.
