SAUSD COMMUNITY INVITED TO GIVE INPUT ON LOCAL CONTROL AND ACCOUNTABILITY PLAN (LCAP) FOR 2020-2021 |
SAUSD's Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) addresses the district’s vision for student learning, outlines actions and annual goals, and demonstrates how the District’s budget supports those goals. The community is invited to share input and suggestions to help the District evaluate its offerings and inform decision making for the LCAP for the 2020-2021 year. SAUSD OFFERING FREE MEALS FOR CHILDREN AGES 1-18 |
The District’s free meal service continues to provide nutritious meals for children ages 1-18 through June 3, 2021. In addition, the District has also expanded service times so that meals may now be picked up in the morning, afternoon and evening. Click here to view the schedule.

Looking to enroll in SAUSD schools for the 2020-21 or 2021-22 school years? Click here to access important questionnaires, enrollment timelines, lottery guidelines and more. The 2021-22 enrollment window is open through Feb. 26, 2021.

APPLICATION PERIOD FOR ENROLLMENT LOTTERY OPEN THROUGH JAN. 25 |
SAUSD is accepting lottery applications for the 2021-2022 school year through 4 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 25 via a Google form. To apply for the lottery, please go to the respective school website and click on the link to complete the Lottery Request Form. SAUSD is now on Nextdoor! The District will be using this new tool to communicate information to the community at large about District-sponsored events and programs, and important resources. Katz is an assistant principal at Lorin Griset Academy.
One of her favorite things about SAUSD are the people. “I love the people and their passion,” she said. “I am so grateful to be here. Being assistant principal at Lorin Griset Academy is truly my dream job. I am proud to be part of such a compassionate organization.”
