SAUSD LCAP SURVEY: YOUR INPUT IS NEEDED!
The SAUSD Board of Education and District leadership are committed to ensuring that our resources are used to meet the needs of all students. Our Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) addresses the District’s vision for our students, the results we expect to achieve, and key actions we will take to achieve these results. Members of the SAUSD community are invited to share input and suggestions to help us evaluate our offerings and inform decision making for our new three-year LCAP cycle (2020-2023). CTE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE 
Career Technical Education (CTE) Assistance League of Santa Ana scholarship applications are now being accepted. Students who are currently seniors in the Santa Ana Unified School District who have taken CTE classes are encouraged to apply. Applications are submitted online and are being accepted until March 16, 2020. Click here to apply.
SAUSD STUDENT MAKES HISTORY AT STATE CONFERENCE 
For the first time in the history of the California YMCA Youth & Government’s Model Legislature & Court program, a Santa Ana Unified School District student's proposed legislation has been approved by the entire National Issues Commission. Congratulations to Lupe Bernabe for her hard work and dedication!

L.A. TIMES PREVIEWS ‘BOCA DE ORO’ FESTIVAL 
The Boca de Oro Festival of Literary Arts & Culture returns for its fourth year on March 7, 2020 offering its attendees a day of free readings, workshops, panels, poetry slams, visual art and more in downtown Santa Ana. Posted by Santa Ana School Police Department : This morning, three SAUSD Explorers joined other Explorers at the 2020 O.C.L.E.E.A.A Winter Explorer Academy. Explorers will experience a wide variety of Law Enforcement activities that will prepare them to pursue a Law Enforcement career.

They learned about life during the American Civil War, famous battles, advances in military technology, as well as how the war brought us closer as a nation, to living out our ideals of justice and equality for ALL.

The committee (comprised of various district departments and community members) works diligently to ensure all students and families feel supported and safe in SAUSD.
