BOARD OF EDUCATION HONORS OCTOBER 2022 EMPLOYEES OF THE MONTH

The Board of Education on Oct. 25, 2022 honored the District’s Employees of the Month for October 2022. Anita Sweeney is the Certificated Employee of the Month; Monica Pacis is the Classified Employee of the Month. Congratulations to both! Read more about them here

SAUSD CELEBRATES START OF $21 MILLION MODERNIZATION PROJECT AT SANTA ANA HIGH SCHOOL

SAUSD on Oct. 26, 2022 celebrated the start of a $21 million project that will bring modernizations to Santa Ana High School. The work, funded by Measure I and state grants, will bring various upgrades to the campus, including new ADA accessible restrooms, new art classrooms, a new attendance office and more. FAMILIES: PLEASE COMPLETE SCHOOL PROGRAMS FUNDING VERIFICATION FORM

As part of a state requirement to determine how our school district will be funded, SAUSD must obtain a School Programs Funding Verification Form for each household by Oct. 31, 2022. School Funding Forms will be sent by mail. Please complete one form per family and submit one of three ways: Scan the QR code or log in to sff.sausd.us, by mail, or return to the school’s main office. Information: (714) 431-1900.

SAUSD COMMUNITY INVITED TO GIVE INPUT ON LCAP 

SAUSD is committed to ensuring District resources are used to meet the needs of all students. Our Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) addresses the district’s vision for student learning, and demonstrates how the district’s budget supports those goals. All parents, students, and staff are invited to share input and suggestions. Contact your school to learn how you can become involved in LCAP input sessions, or take our survey by scanning the QR code provided in the attached image.
