Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt - April 4

The Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt is back this year! Join us on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Canyon View Park for a morning of springtime fun. The egg hunt begins promptly at 9:00 am for children up to 8 years old, so be sure to arrive early. This beloved community tradition features plenty of candy, prizes, and excitement for the little ones. Notice of Public Hearing: Consolidated Fee Schedule, Park Pavilion Reservations & Rules - April 8

The Santa Clara City Council will hold a Public Hearing at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in the City Council Chambers, 2603 Santa Clara Drive, Santa Clara, Utah 84765.

The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive public input on the following items:


  1. Consider proposed Updates to the Consolidated Fee Schedule. Santa Clara City, applicant.
  2. Consider proposed Park Pavilion Reservations and Rules. Santa Clara City, applicant.


Citizens of Santa Clara are encouraged to attend the meeting where they will be given the opportunity to express any concerns they may have with the proposed action. In compliance with the American with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary Communicative aids and services) during this hearing should notify the City Recorder, Selena Nez at 673-6712, ext. 203 at least 24 hours prior to the hearing.

On July 4, 2026, Santa Clara will join the rest of the nation to commemorate and celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Throughout 2026, Santa Clara will host monthly lectures and activities to celebrate this historic event. These events are planned to help Educate, Engage and Unite our community, state and nation. America250 Activity – April 10

Patriot Day Celebration

Join us on April 10, 2026 for the Santa Clara American250 Patriot Day Celebration, a special commemoration of Paul Revere’s legendary ride and the start of the American Revolution. This family friendly evening will take place at Canyon View Park, 1400 N Canyon View Drive, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM, with food trucks opening at 6:30 PM. Enjoy colonial reenactors, a special appearance by Paul Revere himself, the world premiere of the Patriots Day Musical Video, and performances by Six Youth Community Choirs. Bring lawn chairs and blankets for a comfortable evening under the stars and experience the glow of 1776 lanterns sponsored by Barney McKenna and Olmstead.

Scholarship Opportunity for High School Students

The Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems (UAMPS) annual scholarship program is underway for Santa Clara High School students. High school seniors were eligible to apply for a $2,500 educational scholarship to support continuing education after graduation (3.0+ GPA required); however, the February 28, 2026 deadline has now passed. Current sophomores and juniors may still apply to attend a free week-long summer camp (July 6–10, 2026), receive a $500 scholarship, and have opportunities to earn additional funds during camp, with an application deadline of April 3, 2026. All application details, essay prompts, and requirements are available at uamps.com/scholarship, and these scholarships are made possible through Santa Clara City’s membership in UAMPS, supporting the education and future of students in member communities.

If you are age 55 or older, the Foster Grandparent Program offers a rewarding way to give back to your community. Volunteers serve in local schools, helping children build confidence and succeed in reading and math while forming meaningful connections. Santa Clara - Ivins Public Safety

April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month; Victims and witnesses of crime have fundamental rights in the criminal justice process to ensure that all victims are treated with dignity, respect, courtesy, and sensitivity. Victims also have the right to privacy. Utah legislation and the State Constitution protect and honor victims’ rights. You can locate these rights in the Utah Constitution, Article 28, and in the Utah Criminal Code at 77-37, 77-38 and 77-38b. There are specific victims’ rights for survivors of sexual violence.


The Santa Clara-Ivins Public Safety Victim Advocate Services aim to minimize the traumatic impact of crime. Our mission is to provide timely support, gentle guidance, helpful resources, and vital information that promotes healing and progress for victims of crime, witnesses, and their families.

Santa Clara - Ivins Animal Control

Meet Sadie! She is a four-year-old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix with a bundle of energy and joy. Sadie loves being outdoors and playing with her toys, making her the perfect companion for an active home. Santa Clara was also recently featured in a news segment titled “How a Historic LDS Relief Society Building Was Saved from Neglect and the Wrecking Ball,” which highlights the community’s efforts to preserve the historic Relief Society House.
