February 2014
Central Ohio Newsltr Head

Former chapter Treasurer, Jutta von Gontard is now the Santa Fe Chapter Coordinator.  Jutta brings her own style of leadership in sharing responsibility for all chapter activities with Steering Committee members and others who have stepped forward to be on various committees.

Chapter founder and former coordinator, Jean Palmer will remain on the Steering Committee, continuing in her role as Liaison to TTN National.

Please share your responses to our new programming with Chris Johnson, chrisjrn@msn.com, and Mary Rives, rives59@gmail.com, who now head up the Programming Committee.  Their first initiative started with member Rhea Bertelli's January 27th and 28th presentation as the first presentation in our HerStory series.

We are looking for women to help with Membership, Finance and Communications. If you have questions, ideas, needs, or wish to assist in steering the chapter, contact Jutta at jvongontard@aol.com or 505-820-0681, and she will either handle your query directly or forward it to the appropriate Steering Committee member.

Monthly Program Meetings

In January, we initiated our Herstory series, focusing on women who lead interesting lives and play a role in our community. We had a fascinating talk by TTN member Rhea Bertelli, who is 88.

This month, we'll have a facilitated, interactive program that will focus on living as an octogenarian and the developmental tasks associated with this decade in our lives.  This program is for all women, those who are in their 80's, those soon to arrive in their 80's, and those of us who are eager to know what it's like to be in their 80's.
