Santa's Arrival and More!

View as Webpage

Come down to Occoquan this Saturday, December 1, and greet Santa as he arrives by boat at the town dock behind Madigan's Waterfront Restaurant at 10:45 a.m. After disembarking Santa will walk down Mill Street to River Mill Park where he will meet with children of all ages starting at 11:00 a.m.

While you are here this weekend visit the town's Holiday Artisan Market where 100 artisans and crafters will offer original, handmade work in a full range of media. The market will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Take some time as well to visit and vote on the entries in the town's Annual Gingerbread House Contest both days. And on Saturday, from noon to 8:00 p.m., adult beverage sip & stroll rules will be in effect.

When visiting, please consider patronizing town shops for your holiday shopping needs. This is an exceptionally important time for town businesses and we're confident you will find something they offer to be a great gift for a friend, relative, or loved-one.

Finally, if you are worried about parking, consider using the free Occoquan Express shuttle from the commuter lot at the corner of Route 123 and Old Bridge Road -- it will be running both days.
