Established in memory of Sarah Elizabeth Ramsey, Class of 2012, the Sarah Ramsey Strong Fund (SRSF) offers outstanding students the opportunity to expand their professional and global experiences while attending Champlain College. Our annual scholarship has been awarded to six outstanding Stiller School of Business students since 2015. And together with Champlain College, we've helped create the Sarah Ramsey iLab to foster student innovation and collaboration. The support of SRSF friends, donors, volunteers and sponsors enables us to continue to celebrate Sarah's inspiring, passionate creativity and zest for life, and encourage Champlain students to defy all odds in pursuit of their dreams.
Sarah Ramsey Strong 5K Moves to SPRING, 2020
After celebrating the 5th Anniversary of our SRSF 5K race last fall, we've decided to change our SRS race going forward. The next SRS race will be in the spring, giving us more opportunities to attract runners and walkers eager to get out early in the season. Stay tuned for a new date and SRS race registration details early in 2020!
Congratulations Lauren Girard, Class of '21
Meet Lauren Gerard, our 2019 SRSF Scholarship Award recipient. Lauren recently completed Champlain's Freeman Grant program in Shanghai and is now studying marketing analytics at Champlain's Dublin campus for fall semester.

At the April Stiller School of Business Honoring Excellence event, Susan Ramsey joined SSB Dean Scott Baker and Marketing Professor Dr. Elaine Young to congratulate Lauren and wish her all best. We look forward to following her journey!

Sarah Ramsey '12 INNOVATION LAB
Perfectly situated in the heart of the Stiller School of Business, the Sarah Ramsey iLab thrives with creativity and idea-sharing, as students and faculty return to the campus this fall. Accessible to students 24x7, the iLab is widely utilized as drop-in space for class projects, as well as for scheduled forums to engage local businesses with students as they collaborate and explore innovation in preparation for business careers.
John Duncan
John Duncan volunteered as race director for the SRS 5K race for four years. He was with us for our very first Burlington race in 2015, sharing his expertise and guiding us on how to recruit volunteers and organize runners, and manage all many of the details that would help ensure a successful event. We are saddened at the sudden loss of this wonderful friend who gave generously of his time and energy for so many local organizations. Our deepest condolences to John's family and friends at this difficult time.
We're so proud of our SRSF scholarship winners and we love keeping up with their travels and accomplishments. Congrats to:
  • Lauren Buniva, Class of '16, recently named senior strategist at POSSIBLE in NYC. We wish Lauren all the best in her new role.
  • Emily LaPlume, Class of '17, now traveling the USA to promote her Saturday Swimwear company at local marketing/branding events.
  • Emily Connor, Class of '17, currently an academic advisor at SNHU, is completing her masters in communications.
  • Anna Steeley, Class of '19, graduated in May, and is heading to Milan, Italy next month to attend the Duemila30 film festival, where her film "#MeThree" has been selected as a semi-finalist.
  • Harka Tamang, Class of '20, just returned to Burlington from his study abroad program in London. We're excited to hear more about his international experiences!
