Hello to Sarasota and other WM Community Members in Florida!

On behalf of myself and my co-leader, Sharon Piotrowski, this is a reminder about the Sarasota Walk for WM THIS SATURDAY! We have sadly not received ANY RSVP's for those planning to join us, so we sincerely hope some of you will come out and meet us along with the IWMF Home Office Staff! It's not to late to participate! PLEASE RSVP to mpostek@iwmf.com if you plan to attend/how many in your group so we can purchase enough drinks and snacks.

We are inviting those near and far to join us for the 2023 Walk for Waldenstrom's! We will be walking on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 8:30AM! Please see Sharon's video HERE promoting the walk!

We will be meeting at the Ashton Park Legacy Trailhead in Sarasota, Florida, located at 4301 Ashton Road Sarasota, FL 34233. There is a playground and it is a dog friendly, paved trail. We will plan to walk one mile on the trail, and we will have some drinks and breakfast snacks to share. There is a small pavilion, and we hope to bring an ez-up or two for folks to sit before and after the walk. Please bring your own chair.

RAFFLE ALERT!

Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant in Sarasota has graciously donated a bottle of red wine, as well as a 3-month wine club membership and complimentary wine tasting for two at any Cooper's Hawk location. Every $50 you donate to the Sarasota FL Walk for WM will get you one ticket into the raffle.

LIVE OUT OF TOWN?

The IWMF has contracted with the Holiday Inn, located close to the Walk site, for a discounted price of $119 on Friday before the walk. You need to call and mention "IWMF" to receive the discounted fee.

WHAT IS THE WALK FOR WM??

Each year, The funds raised during this campaign will make a very real difference to WMers around the globe – these funds will support vital research into WM, the creation of IWMF publications and literature, and they will help us continue to provide free resources and materials to WMers.
