DID YOU KNOW?
When a performance and payment bond (P&PB) is required, who records it? Once a contract has been executed, and a purchase order is issued for a project, the County will mail you the originals overnight. When you receive them you will need to have the P&PB recorded with the Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller's Office.Please email a recorded copy of the bond to the County's Administrative Agent for the contract.
Is my bid price exposed when I submit my offer? No. When you submit an offer in BidSync your submission is encrypted until bid opening. Construction bid pricing is released pursuant to F.S. 255.0518 when an abstract is posted to BidSync. For all other bids, pricing is made available upon Notice of Recommended Award, or 30 days after bid opening, pursuant toF.S. 119.071(b) 2.
