Can I contact county staff during an active solicitation? Sarasota County's procurement practices prohibit this type of communication. All questions pertaining to an active solicitation must be submitted via BidSync during the question and answer period.
What is an active solicitation? Pursuant to section 14.2 of General Terms and Conditions of Solicitations an active solicitationbegins with the issuance of any solicitation, and ends upon issuance of a purchase order or execution of the contract, whichever comes first, or upon cancellation of the solicitation.
