Dear Community,

Happy September! Can you feel that welcome change of temperature start to kick-in? We have been lucky with some beautiful Market days recently, and we are expecting another gorgeous Saturday morning as we roll into September. We hope you will join us!

"It's all about the Chimi!"
Featured Recipe: Nick B's Chimichurri
As a child, Maria from Nick B's Chimichurri grew up in a small town in the Patagonia Mountains, where she had no phone, no TV, and no toys. She grew up in nature, learning to be creative in many ways - especially food!

Now Maria is sharing her culinary creations with the world - in an upcoming recipe book featuring Nick B's famous Chimichurri, brine, and salad dressing.

"I think making food and sharing meals with others leads to a happiness and healthier life. Food brings us together, gives us comfort, keeps us connected and share different cultures." - Maria
Recipe: Nick B's Grilled Portobello Burger
  • Get Portobello Mushrooms Caps. (We recommend stopping by Mr. Fun Guy Mushrooms while you're at the Market!)
  • Place the mushrooms cups in a bowl.
  • Add Nick B's Sal Muera Argentinian Brine and cover them.
  • Leave the Caps in the solution for a couple hours. (Don’t add salt to the caps the Brine is already a coarse salt solution!)
  • Place the mushrooms on the grill…cook them slowly until they are tender. While they are cooking, brush frequently with Nick B's Black Label Chimichurri
  • Grill thick slices of red onion (pick some up at Kinsey's Produce or SWFL Produce!)
  • Top the mushrooms with Swiss cheese during the last 3 minutes of cooking.
  • To finish…. place grilled onions, fresh spinach, and fresh avocado, on top of the cheesy Portobello burgers and season the veggies with Nick B’s Salad Dressing.
  • Use a Bun or a fresh French baguette (stop by Southern Basket for some fresh local bread!)
