July 2021
Dear Community,

Special thanks to everyone who participated in our This Is Me Flash Mob last week! It was lots of fun to see the community come together, and if you missed it, you can view the video below in our Entertainment section.

This week we are excited to kickstart July with our Independence Day Celebration. We will have the 17-piece Sarasota Jazz Project, Manatee High's Dance Team, and some of our Vendors will be running Market specials for Veterans and Active Duty Military. Special thanks to Market Sponsor Caldwell Trust Company and Vendor Sugar Sand Silver for helping to make this event happen.

Our Market staff and vendors extend our utmost heartfelt gratitude to all Veterans and Active Duty Military. Thank you for your service! We hope you will enjoy the jazz band and another beautiful Sarasota day with us on Saturday.

Entertainment this Week
The Sarasota Jazz Project is a high energy 17-piece band dedicated to preserving and performing big band jazz music in Sarasota.

The Jazz Project will be performing on State Street, 9:00am - 12:00pm.
A recent passion for gypsy jazz music in the vein of Django Reinhardt has put Dean Johanesen on a musical path with a focus on new stories of old times. Non-fictional characters from the '20s and '30s, circus performers, the side show, Prohibition, the war of currents all placed in a backdrop of gypsy swing.

Dean will be performing, 9:00am - 12:30pm, near the intersection of Lemon Ave and 1st Street.
