Experience an exciting program featuring a lineup of dynamic speakers alongside the Saskatchewan crop commissions’ annual general meetings, plus plenty of networking opportunities!

Learn to Lead is Back for 2026

Learn to Lead is a personal and professional development program to build leadership capacity among farmers and create future leaders for the agriculture industry. It is hosted by SaskOilseeds, and sponsored by SaskBarley and supporting crop commissions in Saskatchewan.


Applications are open to Saskatchewan registered producers (levy payers) from all crop commodities.


Deadline for applications is January 31, 2026.

SaskBarley's Annual General Meeting (AGM) takes place at the Sask Crops Forum in Saskatoon - January 13 & 14, 2026.


SaskBarley is now accepting resolutions for the AGM. Approved resolutions will be presented for discussion and voting during the AGM.

Export Sales Reporting Program Key for Farm Profitability

Based on a recent study conducted by Mercantile, Canadian farmers operate at a significant information disadvantage compared to producers in competing regions such as the U.S. and EU, who have robust reporting and transparency systems.


APAS and SaskCrops call on the Federal Government for the creation of an Export Sales Reporting program, so Canadian farmers have timely access to sales and export data.
