SASKCULTURE HIGHLIGHTS

FindtheFun Campaign – Get the word out

Get your events on the Sask Events Calendar to get highlighted as part of the #FindtheFunSK campaign. This summer, the partnership of SK Arts, Creative Saskatchewan, SaskCulture and the Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport launched the #FindtheFunSK campaign in order to encourage people to get out and enjoy arts, heritage and culture in their communities. The promotion of #FindTheFunSK on Facebook, Instagram, Google and TikTok connects to the Saskatchewan events calendar and the Tourism Saskatchewan events guide. Be sure to share the posts and links for #FindtheFunSK in your networks as part of a collective effort to help encourage participants and audiences to get to the back to the arts and cultural activities they enjoy.

Apply for Small Grant Accessibility Program – Digital

SaskCulture just launched a new grant to support cultural groups wanting to improve their digital capacity. The SGAP- Digital Technology aims to support grassroots, unique and innovative initiatives that respond to emergent needs or changes in the cultural sector. For the October 28 deadline, the fund will support applications made to support improvements in the digital technology capacity of cultural organizations. The maximum request is $2,000. For more information on this grant click here or contact Ken Nzeyimana or call 306-780-9398.

Culture Days Countdown

Culture Days, Canada's biggest celebration of arts, culture and creativity, is just over a month away! If you are an activity, event or hub organizer, add your Culture Days details to the national registration site. This is the main place people look to when they are finding Culture Days events - make sure they know about yours by registering as soon as possible. These handy step-by-step guides for registering a single Event or a whole Hub will walk you through the process. You can also add your Culture Days events to the SaskCulture’s Online Events Calendar to help reach even more people. Contact Shelley Fayant for assistance with registering or with any other Culture Days-related questions you have.
