Parks Canada Transfers Land to Métis Nation – Saskatchewan
The Canadian government has transferred 690 hectares of land from Batoche National Historic Site to Métis Nation – Saskatchewan. Read more about the repatriation of the Batoche lands here.

Hub Sponsorships Now Closed
SaskCulture's Culture Days Hub Sponsorship opportunity is now closed. Community hub organizers who have not yet submitted their sponsorship applications are encouraged to do so as soon as possible, in order to be considered for 2022 Culture Days hub sponsorship. Applications already submitted will be reviewed and assessed in the order they were received, and applicants will be notified by email of sponsorship decisions. Contact Shelley Fayant for more information about Culture Days or to get help with a pending hub sponsorship application.
