Culture Days Webinar Highlights Accessible Social Media Practices
Our social media practices influence how we deliver information, who has access to this content, and the ways in which we interact with one another. Incorporating accessibility tools and methods into daily social media and communication practices is important for the sustainable and equitable growth of our creative communities.

Join Culture Days on Thursday, March 24th at noon (CST) for: Who Can Experience My Post? An Accessibility Guide to Everyday Social Media webinar. This one-hour presentation, demo and Q&A with artist, communications specialist, and accessible designer, Yasmeen Nematt Alla will guide participants through some of the accessibility tools social media platforms provide, arts workers, artists, and organizers will learn how to start incorporating these tools into their daily communication practices.

Exploring Connections Between
Indigenous and Newcomer Artists

"How do First Nations artists and their experiences and insights connect with artists from settler communities (new or longer term) or other racialized minorities. In particular are there common experiences of genocide and enforced cultural assimilation? And what role do they think performing artists and live performance can play in Truth and Reconciliation?"
