SK Arts Survey Seeks Community Feedback |
As SK Arts enters a new strategic planning process, they are inviting members of the arts community to fill out an online survey to provide feedback and suggestions. Learnings from the survey, as well as the report from previous public consultations, will be provided to the SK Arts Board of Directors to to inform the development of the agency's new strategic plan. | Saskatchewan Celebrates Multicultural Week |
Saskatchewan Multicultural Week takes place every year in the week of November 22. This year, the Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan is celebrating with a social media campaign with the theme "Together We Make Saskatchewan Strong." People can join by sharing their own messages about the advantages of multiculturalism, and the province's diversity, collective strength, challenges and contributions, using the hashtag #SKStrong. Campaign: Core Funding to Support Non-profits in 2023 Budget
Imagine Canada has launched a signature campaign ahead of the 2023 federal budget to ask MPs and federal Ministers to make core funding for non-profits a top priority. The campaign asks the federal government to reclassify 30 per cent of current project-based funding to be eligible as core funding, improve project-based funding, and take an equity approach to the provision of core funding to address historical inequities. Have Your Say: Changing Narratives Fund Survey
Government of Canada is receiving feedback through an online survey to inform the delivery of the Changing Narratives Fund in 2023-24. Respondents can share their thoughts on how the Government of Canada should design the Changing Narratives Fund with the goal of increasing access and empowering Indigenous, racialized and religious minority artists, journalists and other creatives. The survey is open until December 16, 2022. Read more.
