National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
On September 30, 2022, SaskCulture will recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, aka Orange Shirt Day, as a statutory holiday and our offices will be closed. The day is a time to listen to, learn about, act on and honour the impact of residential schools and consider ways to redress the 94 Calls to Action outlined in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's (TRC) Final Report. To find out more about this day or to find some of the events that commemorate the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, visit the SaskCulture - Indigenous Awareness Hub.
