Fall Retreat WEEK 1
I know I say this every single time - but we have SEW much fun at our retreats! My staff and I enjoy it probably as much as the retreaters! All of these ladies are so dear to us and we love catching up with them and spending three days sewing, laughing and fellowshipping. It was such fun to have my friend, Monica, with us. She used to teach our retreats before moving. We welcomed a few new friends and enjoyed the regulars. Several finished their quilt tops and others were very close. Thanks to Jerrie and Teresa who work so hard to plan and prepare the delicious food. Y'all are amazing and I appreciate you both so much. Thanks to all who attended. I appreciate your support, your business, and most importantly your friendship. I love you guys!
We will welcome our Week 2 group next Thursday! We have 3 spots in Week 2 which will be November 4, 5, & 6.
If you are interested in being in the second week of our Fall Retreat, grab a friend, give us a call or stop by and sign up!

"Adel in Autumn"
We finally got yardage of this beautiful line and it's almost gone!!! We did manage to make some kits for this gorgeous wall hanging. We only have a few left!
It's SEW nice to see all the shop hoppers coming to Franklin and shopping with us! Now that more folks are out and about, here is another event you might be interested in during your All Carolinas Shop Hop adventure in our region!

Ken Burns is a renowned filmmaker with a focus on documentaries. He began collecting quilts in the mid 1970's. His collection of 75 quilts adorn his home, office, barn and other places where he spends his time. He connects quilts and his documentaries as story telling outlets. "Uncovered: The Ken Burns Collection" is now on display at the Upcountry History Museum in Greenville, SC until January 30, 2022. Here is a link to more information. Enjoy!
Sassy Stitches and The Book Club members invite you to a showcase of stunning quilts! A wonderful group of ladies gathered at Sassy Stitches for several months to read a book about quilters in days past and then made some of the MOST beautiful quilts you've ever seen! Donna headed up the group and they read the book, The Quilter's Apprentice by Jennifer Chiaverini. This is the first book in a series called "The Elm Creek Quilts". Each member of the group made the same quilt, "Mrs. Miller's Apprentice," by Pam Buda, using their choice of fabrics. These gorgeous quilts are all on display in our classroom. The pictures do NOT do them justice! Look how different each one is! These gals gathered a few weeks ago to celebrate their accomplishments and display their quilts. If you get a chance, come by and see these quilts hanging at the shop. You will be SEW glad you did. I have ordered more patterns if you would like to make your own version!

One fabulous, fun, and friendly quilt shop business for sale! Sassy Stitches has been my heart for 5 years now. I have made lifelong friendships and learned so much from all of you. My goal was to have a bright, friendly place for quilters to gather and fellowship, sew, and have tons of fun. It is a happy place where we care about each other and learn together.

The craziness that began in 2020 in our nation caused us to close for 6 weeks and of course that had an impact on my business. As we reopened after that 6 weeks, business slowly but surely has been picking up! The 2021 Carolina Shop Hop was a huge success! Over the last five years, we have grown our customer base and the numbers show a substantial increase in business from the previous owner.

The new owner of this business will be stepping into a nice setup! The FIRST ever All Carolinas Shop Hop" is in full swing and going great. Your customer base is established and solid. I will be available to the new owner(s) to help if the new owner(s) so desires. I might even want to teach a little!

This business gets into your heart and soul. The people! Oh my goodness the people. We have cried with widows, we have prayed with those facing illness, we have rejoiced for new babies, and we have loved on many of you as we share in your quilting adventures and personal lives. You have also loved on us and it has been one of the most rewarding times of my life.

Should you be interested in becoming the new owner of this awesome quilt shop, please respond to this email with your contact information. Please don't contact me unless you are seriously considering purchasing.

Until I sell the shop, there will be business as usual. We will carry on with classes, add some new ones, set up our clubs, and see what the future holds. I could never thank you enough for supporting me and the shop over the past 5 years. Please know that each and every one of you have touched my life and I will never forget it! I give God the glory for our success. I've experienced more fun and love than I could have ever imagined. It has been a great "next chapter" after teaching school for many years.
