"We the Corporations?!
- The Rev. Dr. Carl Gregg

Invite a Friend
After the Citizens United Supreme Court decision, have you wondered what went wrong? If you have a friend, family member, or colleague who may be particularly interested in this topic, invite them to join you on Sunday, January 13 when Rev. Carl will be preaching about "We the Corporations?!" Better understand the astonishing story of one of the most successful yet least well-known "civil rights movements" in American history. Hardly oppressed like women and minorities, business corporations, too, have fought since the nation's earliest days to gain equal rights under the Constitution - and today have nearly all the same rights as "we the people." To create change, we have to understand how we arrived at our current state of affairs.

General Announcements

A New Church Photo Directory is Coming in February!  Here's How You Can Help!

Do you ever see someone at UUCF and say to yourself "What is that person's name?".  Most of us do. Recognizing this issue, we are adding an UUCF Photo Directory that will be available online,  and there is also an app for your phone!

The UUCF Photo Directory will not replace our current Directory, which is printed quarterly and is online at our website.  The Photo Directory will simply tell you the names of the members and friends in each picture. The Photo Directory will be located at a website called Instantchurchdirectory.com.  We are creating this separate Photo Directory because photos could not be added to our current Directory and you can have the UUCF Photo Directory on your phone or other device.

During the week of January 27th, those of you who have given your email address to the church will be sent a message requesting that you send in one photo of yourself and any other family members you wish to be in the  UUCF Photo Directory. The email will provide simple instructions on how to upload your picture from your smart phone or other device to the Picture Directory website.

Beginning Sunday, February 10, and continuing on February 17 and 24, members and friends who do not prefer to send a picture by email can have their picture taken at UUCF.  Photos will be taken between services and after the second service.

Information about how to view the UUCF Photo Directory at Instantchurchdirectory.com, how to  download the app for your phone, and a question and answer fact sheet will be available soon.
