Hello Sato Families & Friends!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! What a fun Friday we had at Sato! It was great seeing so many creative costumes and watching our students enjoy all the Spooky & Scary Fun Friday activities.
As we head into November (can you believe it is already November?!), I wanted to share a few quick reminders. First, don't forget to set your clocks back one hour on 11/1 as Daylight Saving Time comes to an end!
Also, Monday, November 2, is a student-free day at Sato. Our teachers will be on campus participating in professional development throughout the day. Students will return to school on Tuesday, November 3.
On Tuesday, November 3, from 5:00–8:00 PM, we will be hosting Sato Site Night! This is a great opportunity for prospective students and families from across LBUSD and surrounding communities to visit our campus and learn what makes Sato such a special place. With eighth graders beginning to think about their high school choices for next year, we are excited to show off all the amazing things happening at Sato. Many of our Sato Dragons will be volunteering that evening to help welcome families and share their experiences!
Finally, we have Sato's Semi-Fall Formal on Friday, November 6, from 6:00–10:00 PM at El Dorado Park Golf Course. It should be another fun evening for our students!
It is hard to believe how quickly this school year is flying by! There are so many great things happening at Sato, and I appreciate all the support from our students, families, and staff.
Have a wonderful week, Dragons!
Go Dragons!
