"Small but MIGHTY"

ENGINEERED FOR SUCCESS

Dear Sato Community,

It is hard to believe that fall has arrived, and October is right around the corner! We had another busy and exciting week at Sato. On Friday, more than 70 clubs were represented at Club Rush during lunch. There is truly something for everyone here at Sato, and I encourage all of our Dragons to find a club, get involved, and connect with other students who share their interests.

ASB also hosted our Sato Bowling Night last Thursday, providing another great opportunity for students to have fun and spend time together outside of the school day. Thank you to our ASB students and staff for continuing to create opportunities that strengthen our school community.

On Tuesday, September 22, we held our first Sankofa Parent Village meeting of the year. It was wonderful to connect with families, share information, and discuss the exciting year ahead. Thank you to everyone who joined us! Our next Sankofa Parent Village meeting will be Wednesday, November 18.

This week, on Thursday, 10/1 we will host our Sato Parent Mixer at 6:00 p.m. in Room 401. This is a great opportunity to meet other Sato families, build connections, and learn more about how you can support the many amazing events and activities taking place at Sato this year. We hope you can join us!

Finally, a quick reminder regarding drop-off and pick-up. Please avoid driving around other vehicles in the drop-off lane and always pull as far forward as possible before stopping. Please do not stop directly in front of the entrance when there is open space ahead of you. These small steps make a big difference in keeping traffic moving safely and efficiently.

Thank you for your patience and for helping make drop-off and pick-up as painless as possible for everyone.

Have a great week, Dragons!

All the best,

Chris Thompson
