ARE YOU PREPARED?
The year 2020 has proven to be a year of rapid change. Things have accelerated in the natural realm and in the spiritual. What was prophesied as a year of “2020” vision and great increase has proven to be a year of “little vision” coming to pass, and sickness, death, and lockdown.
Many people have lost loved ones and property through the chaos and the terrorism in the streets. It has become a “skin” battle rather than a sin battle. The Church has become divided on what is right biblically and what is politically correct.
We have endured much, yet it should not be a surprise. We should be prepared every day for persecution since it says in II Timothy 3:12
“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”
All means all. If we aren’t living godly then we can’t expect to be persecuted. If we are doing what God tells us to do, there is a price to pay and that is persecution.
As I write this, there are churches that have been burned, vandalized, and shut down. The fear level is so high that many choose not to leave their homes. States have banned public worship and singing in church. Many states insist that masks be worn when it has been proven that the masks do more harm than good. Control out of hand? Yes.
It seems that everything is out of control, doesn’t it? This is exactly the scenario that will take place when the Antichrist comes on the scene with answers to “all our problems.” Are you prepared for that? Many believe that they will be removed from earth by a pretribulation rapture, but what if it doesn’t happen that way? What if the Lord’s return is as it says in Matthew 24:29-30
“Immediately AFTER THE TRIBULATION of those days shall the sun be darkened… and THEN shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming……”
Do you notice it says immediately after? That is when Jesus is coming. Are you prepared to go through the horrible days before he comes?
I would hope that you have spent time listening to Holy Spirit and know where your “Goshen” is like the Hebrews did in Egypt. They did not escape the plagues, but they were safe in Goshen. We must consider the possibility that this will happen my friends, since the scripture plainly says it will.
The Boy Scout motto is “Be prepared.” The Church should be teaching the sheep to be prepared also. Take it to the Lord and see what He would have you do. Some things you should have on hand are water, toiletries, canned food, batteries, and a way to cook the food. Then you must have an escape plan from your home if the times of persecution comes. Do not take this lightly. I know that Holy Spirit is directing us to prepare. Now it is up to you.
