SEED SOWN: PART 3
Continued: My personal story of seed time and harvest 2/1/2020)
THE HARVEST
Circa 2003-2005: During my cousin's convalescing from his broken back, his workman's compensation provided just enough money to provide for food and utilities. What about the mortgage on their home? Would they lose it? Amazingly, God provided. His Church voluntarily took it up and paid his mortgage during his five or so years of convalescence.
My wife and I marveled at how God had moved upon his church and the Pastor under whom "Tom" and his family had served for many years. I inquired as to who was this Pastor? I was astounded to learn it was "Larry." Out of more than a thousand Pastors in the denomination, it was the very one unto whom we had planted the seed (a car) so he could complete his preparation for the ministry.
Conclusion:
You might try to say that the harvest did not come to me and my wife. Oh, but it did!! It came to my blood line, my near kinsman. God is all about the blood line. Jesus is proof of that. The story of Ruth and Boaz (the kinsman redeemer) is further proof. It still blesses me today to reflect on this.
Friends, God's time is not like our time. My harvest came more than 40 years later. God's ways are not our ways. My harvest came to my bloodline. He provided protection for "Tom's" home, restored his health, and restored him to his family. To God be the glory.
Have you planted seed into Heaven's Kingdom? By faith, give God praise for your harvest....whether you have seen it....or not yet seen it....for it will come. His way. His time.

HOW DO WE PLEASE GOD?
Little children are full of questions, and often look to Mom and Dad for all the answers. Years ago I sold a product called Childcraft, the How and Why Library. It answered so many questions that helped me as a Mother with all of the questions that kids ask. Like: Why is the sky blue? What kind of bird doesn't fly? I didn't know the answers to all their questions so this was a great resource.
Finding answers is a part of all of our lives from the cradle to the grave. There is only one source that gives the answers for lives, and that is the Word of God, the Bible. I received a Bible when I was young when I "joined" the Church, but I didn't understand it until I was born again. It was full of thees and thous. Did you know the King James Version is written on a fifth grade reading level? Well, until I was saved and then later baptized with the Holy Spirit, the Bible was difficult to understand. I had lots of questions, and looked to those that knew the answers. Their answers came from the Word, and that is how I grew. Reading the word of God builds our faith. In Romans 10:17 it says:
"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
In the book of Hebrews ch. 11:6 it says:
"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that
diligently
seek him."
Diligent means done in a way that shows care and a certain conscientiousness in one's work or duties. It is not half-hearted. It means working at something until it is done right.
Paul was writing to the Hebrews when this verse was written. They knew the Jewish religion, but did not understand that Jesus was the Messiah. He was instructing them that they could not have both the law and grace because they do not work together. He was writing this so their faith could be built up as they read his letter, and they would make the choice to seek God diligently.
Are you diligent in the things of God? Do you go after his promises with a whole-hearted desire, or do you just do it occasionally? If it is occasionally, then you aren't pleasing God. It must be as the scripture says, NO other God's before Him, especially self. So, I suggest, you find someone to help you on your seeking Him out and get all of the Word of God in you that you can. I am certain that we are living in the last days. In Luke 18:11 it says: ..
."when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?"
If he had to ask this question, perhaps he knew that faith would be scarce. Let us not be found in the category of no faith. Let us live, walk and be filled with faith so Jesus will be pleased!

PROPHETIC WORDS AND EXHORTATIONS
APOSTLE PAT MURRAY
You’ll never qualify for your promised purpose and promotion of tomorrow...Until you first thank your enemies of your yesterday’s and today. Don’t you know God was fully aware there’d be a famine in Joseph’s future? Sure He did and in fact, He knew it long before the jealous brothers found the pit they eventually put him in. Likewise, today when God begins to create your destiny; Strange as it may seem, He will work through your greatest enemy to help position you for His proving ground. Why? All in order to get you to the right place and in front of the right people so that His divine purpose for your life can come into full fruition. You’ve heard the old saying that God qualifies the called...Well yes, He does that for sure. However, God will ultimately call the best qualified for their purpose and for His glory. But...Only after He strategically positions them in a pit of preparation. This is all for the sole purpose of preparing them to pass the grueling tests of the intense training for reigning. Remember that no one ever escapes their endurance tests. That’s just part of the process on the way to their promised promotion.
