Our Next 301 Faith Partners
Worship Service
Sunday, June 29, 10:30am
No 12:30 Mass
At 9:00 am join us at the Shared Adult Forum:
The topic will be “An Introduction to Our Inner Pilgrimage.” Peter Musnon was in a learning group for seven years, led by Julie Colwell, a PhD psychologist, author, and resident of Boulder. Based on the book Power vs. Force, by David Hawkins, M.D., Julie developed the concept of the Inner Map. It is a powerful tool for becoming more aware of whether we are in “reactive brain” or “creative brain.”
This awareness, and learning how to shift from reactive brain to creative brain, can be a huge help in navigating our relationships with others. Come learn about and experience the Inner Map model.
At 10:30 am we will celebrate Eucharist with all three congregations. No 12:30 Mass
Around noon we’ll have a pot luck picnic in the Fellowship Hall. Bring some picnic food to share. Come and join in the fellowship!
NEW Zoom links will be available! Check back next Saturday.

Pastoral Care Training Session
Expanding pastoral care within our communities could be a great asset.
Recognizing the desire of ECC Pastors to expand pastoral care within their church communities, this interactive training provides insights and practices designed to help lay people make visits to other community members, offering them additional caring contact beyond that which the priest gives. It also considers ways to support the pastor and other clergy in the community.
Content: The 4- hour session is made up of modules which are entitled as follows...
a. Why Provide pastoral care?
b. Assuring confidentiality
c. Sharing prayer and Eucharist
d. Providing a listening ear (both active and reflective)
e. Maintaining healthy boundaries
f. Vetting volunteers for lay pastoral care ministry
g. Clergy support.
The training will be held on Saturday August 23rd , from 10am to 2pm at Church
of the Beloved, 10500 Grant Drive, Northglenn, CO.
The training will be open to everyone in the Rocky Mountain Region who is interested.
Chuck Cooper and Mary Franch, from Light of Christ ECC, are happy to bring this
training session to the Rocky Mountain Region of the ECC. Both are experienced and trained Stephen Ministers and Stephen Ministry leaders. Mary also served as Lay Pastoral Associate at Light of Christ for many years and Chuck has been the Parish Council Staff Liaison in support of LOC’s pastor.
Non-critical pastoral care offers extra support for folks that just need a listening ear. It also makes a huge difference in support of the pastor. This is not a zoom telecast. Attend in person at COB. RSVP to Mother Rosean.

301 Faith Partners is going to help provide breakfast for the Adelante youth on Friday, June 27.
For those who are wondering what Adelante is, Adelante is an eight-week summer fellowship offered by ISAAC of Northern Colorado that places low income youth in organizations and businesses so that each Fellow has a hands-on experience that allows them to build leadership skills.
Adelante offers wrap-around support for each Fellow that includes transportation and meal expenses, emotional/mental health support, a culturally appropriate peer-learning curriculum that includes field trips.
We need your help at the breakfast
Here is the sign up genius if you can help provide breakfast for these youth. Please drop the food of at Trinity by Thursday, June 26 BY 3 pm. Another group of volunteers will take it to Plymouth on Friday morning.
For questions email Lisa Jones at marymagdalafc@gmail.com

Habitat for Humanity
Friends, Habitat for Humanity is offering an additional application phase for the month of June, 2025. Below is the latest information regarding home ownership from Habitat for those among us that may wish to apply! What can you lose by trying? Rent in Fort Collins is so expensive. And home buying is very costly!
Also, consider volunteering at the next Build Date: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18. It would be great to see more of us working at the build sites! You might also consider donating to the cause. More information coming this summer.

The 301 Faith Partners Garden Needs Volunteers
There has never been a more appropriate time for a garden! We need locally grown food, both for ourselves and for the greater community, and the 301 Faith Partners supply some of this need through our garden.
But we need volunteers!
People who want to get their hands dirty in a productive and life-giving way, people who like to steward growing things, and people who value community are asked to please volunteer to help out with this worthwhile project of bringing healthy food to our little place in the world.
Email Nyla Anderson and offer your service!! nander0620@aol.com
