All people involved in putting together our liturgies are invited to a morning of Listening and Appreciation on October 4, from 9-11am. This includes Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Bread Bakers, Linen Washers, Hospitality Team*, Planners, Music Ministry, Tech Team, and Homilists.

A light breakfast food/drink will be available as we listen to each other talk about what is working and what needs help or some change.

OKTOBERFEST 2025 – SEPTEMBER 27 - 6:30

September 27, from 6:30 - 8:30 PM is Oktoberfest - only one week away! We have three other churches arriving to join us - Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran, Spirit of Joy Lutheran, and Our Saviour's Lutheran.

There will be beer and brats, potato salads and many other sides, polka music, beer steins to be won by name drawings, and as an added feature- Trinity members will have a silent auction for some awesome bird houses they made! The birds will love them, and so will we! 

Also, don't forget to bring your church nametags and your beer steins. The program for Habitat for Humanity begins promptly at 6:30 PM. Chad Bauer will tell us of all the happenings at Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity. That will be followed with the beer and brats, the silent auction, and drawings for a free beer stein! We will announce the bird house winners and how much we collected for Habitat at the end of the event. Let's make this a successful event! RSVP AND SIGNUP TO HELP OUT! Thanks and EIN PROSIT!

Update from the Family Housing Network (FHN)

The Capital Campaign for our central location at 811 W. Myrtle is underway!

 As of June, $167,000 has been raised toward our goal of $3.25 million for this future facility that will house 30 people overnight & an additional 20 people in our Day Center. FHN will need to raise $2.25 million in 2025 to acquire this property, & any donation, however small, will be most welcome.

This facility will be designed to keep unhoused families safe because every child deserves a home. Think of how wonderful it will be for our families to not have to move from church to church every week! Please click here to find out more.

The ISAAC Annual Winter Gear Drive

The ISAAC annual Winter Gear Drive for Newcomer Youth in Poudre School District has officially be

gun! Collection Dates are September 3 - September 30

301 Faith Partners at 301 E Stuart is one of two drop-off spots. “Public” hours advertised for drop off are Monday - Thursday from 9-3. 

Collection boxes are located in the Fellowship Hall at the South end of the room under the windows.

What is Needed:

NEW WINTER GEAR (ages 12-19)

• New gear only; dark color coats preferred
• Winter hats + gloves (all sizes and colors)
• YOUTH COATS size 12, 14, 16 | ADULT COATS size S, M, L

TEEN HYGIENE PRODUCTS (male, female, gender neutral)

• Regular sized shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, razors, deodorant, a brush or comb, and a toothbrush, floss and toothpaste. Please see our Amazon wish-list HERE.

DONATIONS TO FILL IN THE GAPS

• Not everyone has the time or ability to shop. We also welcome donations towards this effort HERE! $35 buys a hygiene bag; $65 buys a coat, hat and gloves.

CHANGES for 2025 - Bags are not needed for the Hygiene Bags as they are being sewn by several folks (including 301 quilters!)

Be a Part of Trinity Readers this Fall

Trinity Readers will next meet on Monday, October 6, at 9:30 in the Fireside Room to discuss Our Missing Hearts by Celeste Ng. It is a novel about an imagined not-too-distant future in American. In this future, severe economic depression has come about, citizens have taken to the streets, and the government has clamped down on any form of dissent and encouraged resentment of China, where there is economic prosperity. 

Throughout the novel, a small family of an Asian American poet/mother, a language professor father, and their young son navigate the dangers of the society.

Join the 301 Quilters!

We’ve come to another year’s end of the 301 Quilters. That means we will gather all the quilts that have been made in the past 12 months into the sanctuary.

As part of the joint service on Sunday, October 19 we will bless those quilts before they are delivered to Denver and then on to Minnesota and then across the globe. Please join us for this special service.

AND THEN…

The following weekend Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th, we invite you to join an old-fashioned quilting bee in the fellowship hall after each service. Well, it will actually be a new-fashioned tying bee. We’ll have a couple of quilts ready for you to help us tie them. We’ll have the needles threaded and you just make a loop and tie a knot. It’s simple and fun.

Refuge, Rights and Community: A Learning Series on Immigration · By ISAAC of Northern Colorado

Refuge, Rights and Community is a three-part education series on the impact of current policies and practices on immigrant and refugee communities in Northern Colorado.

This series is a collaborative effort hosted by Church World Service Fort Collins, ISAAC of Northern Colorado, Arboretum Coffee and Alianza NORCO.
