Dear FBC Orchestra,

Happy Saturday to you......and I hope you can find a few moments to listen to this rendition of a piece we have played, David Gillingham's Be Thou My Vision . What a great composition!

Thank you, Lord, for YOUR music. Please bless the offerings of it tomorrow morning by a vocal ensemble from our choir and by Joe Bader from our orchestra. Please continue to reach our hearts through musical memories, archival recordings, live offerings of soloists and ensembles, and in new creative ways.

Finally, one of our favorite songs of the faith will be interpreted at the organ by our Esther Kim in the morning. Here are the verses I will share leading into it. See if you can guess the hymn--

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful . (Hebrews 10:23)

.....therefore I have hope. Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is Your faithfulness. "The Lord is my portion," says my soul. "Therefore I hope in Him!"  (Lamentations 3: 19-24)

The Lord bless you and keep you,
Billy
