Designed for absolutely smooth rotary and linear movement, NB's Slide Rotary series offers compact units assembled with and without a variety of outer housings as well as a flange mounted.

The standard bush contains cylindrically arranged ball elements within a retainer that moves inside a steel outer race. No matter the installation direction it smoothly facilitates both rotary and linear motion. Though compact, the relatively large steel balls support higher loading..

Available in sizes ranging from 6mm to 30 mm. Detailed drawings and tables provide dimensional and mechanical information. Now also available in 3-D CAD.

Sensor Mounting Rail For Our BG Ball Screw Actuator

Makes Sensor Mounting Easy

A Photomicro sensor or Proximity sensor can be attached to the BG actuator with our optional sensor-mounting rail (the same length as the guide rail length). Tapped holes are machined on both sides of the guide rail, allowing attachment of sensor to either side. Standard positioning (without special instruction from customer) would be to the left of the motor mount end. Sensor option includes the items that are listed below.

Made in the U.S.A NB’s shafts are never anneal, so outer diameters are ultra precise – tolerances are always reliable. Tapped shaft can be ordered with one or both ends tapped in either case-hardened carbon steel or stainless steel. Threaded shaft can be ordered with one or both ends threaded in case-hardened carbon steel. Diameters range from ¼” to 1-1/2”. Travel lengths sections available from 6” to 36”.

Guaranteed diameter tolerance of ISO g6 and straightness tolerances of 0.001” to 0.002” per foot. The case hardened steel, precision ground shafts have a 10-16rms micron finish. Case hardness is Rockwell C60-C64.
