O n November 27th, we are joining a national day of generosity, #GivingTuesday . It's a day when you can make a big impact on Stop Abuse for Everyone (SAFE) and the lives of many underrepresented victims of domestic violence.
WHAT IS GIVING TUESDAY?
Giving Tuesday connects diverse groups of individuals, communities and organizations around the world for one common purpose: to celebrate and encourage giving.
We're Different!
SAFE is unique from other organizations, because an underserved victim can go on our website stopabuseforeveryone.org, and locate our National Directory of Shelters and Services to find services in their area.
Help Underserved Victims Of Domestic Violence
With your help, we’ll raise funds to strengthen our outreach, media, advocacy, and prevention programs. Your generosity will allow us to continue to update our National Directory of Shelters and Services for underserved victims of intimate partner violence, educate the general public , health organizations, criminal justice agencies, and service providers on violence prevention .
About Us
Stop Abuse for Everyone (SAFE) is a national 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that views domestic violence as a human rights issue. SAFE was selected as one of only 50 promising strategy programs in the nation to prevent domestic violence by the National Crime Prevention council.
If you are in an abusive relationship, services should be available to you regardless of gender, sexuality, or age.
What We Do
We develop programs and disseminate educational materials, provide access to resources and best practices, foster public awareness, and promote an inclusive process to recognize all forms of abuse and all victims of abuse, including under-served victim populations.   Education and public awareness is an important aspect of our work. SAFE educates the general public, health organizations, criminal justice agencies, and service providers on violence prevention.  We also have advocacy programs to bring awareness of issues to community leaders/policymakers on legislative reforms. 
Stop Abuse For Everyone APP
With the new SAFE App, you can access our National Directory of Shelters for underserved victims of domestic violence. From the app, you will be able to find an inclusive shelter near you, leave a review of the shelter, recommend shelters to be added to our app, and read more about what SAFE has to offer. Our SAFE App is available for all Apple and Android devices.
There Are Many Ways You Can Help:
Your membership/donation will help fund SAFE and enable our organization to continue our educational, media, and advocacy programs. Funding is necessary to help spread awareness on serious issues for victims who fall between the cracks of services available to them.
