Make Earth Cool Again Celebration & Film Festival 2025

4th Annual Celebration – A Broader Look at What’s at Stake

Welcome to The 4th annual Make Earth COOL Again Celebration, presented by the Laguna Beach Cultural Arts Center—where art, activism, and community converge to inspire environmental awareness and meaningful action.

This year, we expand the lens. While previous festivals focused more narrowly on climate science, this year’s films and events explore the ripple effects of environmental disruption—on food, fashion, marine life, human conflict, and even our emotional connection to nature.

From the Pentagon linking global warming-induced famine to civil unrest—ultimately helping spark the Arab Spring—in The Age of Consequences, to the transformation of lifeless soil into a thriving regenerative farm in The Biggest Little Farm, each story deepens our understanding of what's at stake and what’s still possible.
