Join the 2026 BCCLS Scavenger Hunt - a fun-filled journey to discover the BCCLS logo hidden in participating libraries.
Here’s how it works:
- Pick up your scavenger hunt form at either Hoboken Public Library location starting June 15.
- Visit at least 3 libraries between June 15 and August 15, 2026, and find the hidden BCCLS logo.
- Get your form stamped with each library’s property stamp as proof of your discovery!
- Return your form to any BCCLS library by August 29, 2026.
Visit at least 3 libraries (hint: the Main Library and Grand Street Branch are listed as two separate locations) and you may win a $50 Visa Gift Card!

Blood Drive

Are you ready to help save lives? The New York Blood Center will be hosting a Blood Drive at the Hoboken Public Library. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome until 4:30 PM.
To prepare for donating, please eat well, stay hydrated, bring a valid photo ID, and make sure you are feeling well and symptom-free. Donors must be at least 17 years old (or 16 with a completed parental consent form) and meet minimum weight requirements.

Join us in the MakerSpace for an exciting teen-led program learning robotics and coding using the VEX classroom robotics kits! Designed for teens and adults, this class will introduce you to the coding needed to program small robotics to complete tasks and challenges.
There will be 5 total sessions spanning through August, and attendance at every class is not required.
Registration is required, maximum 10 students per class.

Staying connected shouldn't be out of reach. The library is hosting a Lifeline Phone Sign-Up Event in partnership with the City of Hoboken's Social Services team and the Library Social Worker, bringing on-site representatives to help eligible residents apply for the federal Lifeline program.
Qualifying participants may receive a free mobile phone with talk, text, and data service, with a one-time $5 copay. Staff will be available to walk you through the process, answer questions, and help determine eligibility on the spot.
To attend:
-Bring a valid photo ID
-Proof of address
-Proof of participation in qualifying assistance programs if applicable
-W2 or Social Security Income Verification Letter.
Please note that a free phone and service are not guaranteed, and eligibility is determined by program representatives at the event.

How to DJ with Eshrack_ is an evening for anyone who has ever been curious about getting behind the decks.
Eshrack will walk you through the basics in an introductory seminar covering the fundamentals of DJing, followed by hands-on time at the decks where you'll have the chance to put it into practice and build your own short set.
Whether you're dreaming of playing your first gig or just want to see what it feels like to mix a track, this event is for you.
Attendance is free. RSVP is required. No experience necessary. Refreshments included.

We'll sing, dance, and learn about exercise.

Whether you are an experienced crafter or just starting out, all are welcome.
