The Sullivan County Delegation Executive Finance Committee will convene on  Friday, June 21st, 2019 1:00 p.m. , in Newport NH -  Sullivan County Administration Building, 14 Main Street - 1st Floor Commissioners Conference Room. Recycled Percussion - Show Rescheduled to August 10th
The Recycled Percussion show on Saturday, June 22 at the Claremont Opera House has be rescheduled to Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 7pm . The postponement is due to a broken leg suffered by Tony Zane, the dancer/roller skater on the current tour. All tickets will be honored for the new date.

Legendary New Hampshire drumming group RECYCLED PERCUSSION is back in the Granite State to rock the Claremont Opera House !

You may have seen them impressing the judges on America’s Got Talent, or even seen them perform in Las Vegas or maybe as they opened the 2017 Super Bowl or on their Award-Winning TV show “Chaos & Kindness”! Maybe, just maybe, you are one of the few that have not seen this amazing show. Whether it’s your first time or your tenth, a Recycled Percussion show always rocks!

Don’t miss this show packed full of surprises and crowd favorites in an incredible turbo-charged performance. Be part of a one of a kind show and relive the journey of the local boys all the way to the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas!

Tickets are $37.50 and can be purchased online , by phone at 603-542-4433 or in person at the Opera House Box office in City Hall Complex just inside the front door at 58 Opera House Square.
Volunteer Opportunity
Children’s Community Lunch is looking for responsible individuals over 18 to supervise our meal sites throughout the summer. (Teens and children are welcome to assist a parent or guardian who has signed up).

  • Volunteers are needed form June 24th-August 23rd, excluding weekends and July 4th.
  • The time commitment is about an hour and 45 minutes each day staffing a site.
  • Volunteers receive coolers of food and an activity box at the site approximately half an hour before meal time, serve meals to children and accompanying adults for an hour, keep track of the required paperwork, do minimal cleanup and return the cooler and activity box to the Claremont Soup Kitchen at close. Meals are served from 11:30am to 12:30pm.
  • A background check is required.
  • Training is offered and required for all volunteers.

Drawing for tickets to see the New Hampshire Fisher Cats
Starting June 3, 2019 visit any New Hampshire location of Bar Harbor Bank & Trust to enter a drawing for tickets to see the New Hampshire Fisher Cats play on their home field at the Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester. There will be a drawing each week for four weeks, with five winners per week. Each winner will receive a pair of tickets to an upcoming game. No purchase necessary to enter or win.

Rising Stars Awards Nominations now Open!
Stay Work Play's annual  Rising Stars Awards  recognizes New Hampshire's young talent and the businesses that recruit and retain them. As you may know, nominations are 10th annual awards are open. 

With your work at the Greater Claremont Chamber of Commerce, I wanted to enlist your help in spreading the word about nominations to your membership - or even encourage you to consider nominating an individual or company you know.
